Rent-a-Trailcam

Rent-a-Trailcam is a rental service operated by Solar Security Services (Pty) Ltd. This Shipping Policy explains how delivery and return collection are handled for all rentals.
1. Delivery Method
All Rent-a-Trailcam equipment is delivered and collected via courier service.
We do not offer in-store collection or walk-in pickups.
2. Courier Fee
A flat courier fee is charged per order and covers:

Delivery to the customer’s specified address

Return collection at the end of the rental period
The courier fee is displayed at checkout and is required for all rentals.
3. Delivery Areas
We currently deliver within South Africa only.
Delivery availability may be subject to courier coverage in certain remote areas.
4. Dispatch Time
Orders are typically dispatched:

Within 1–2 working days after payment confirmation

Subject to stock availability and order verification
You will receive confirmation once your order has been dispatched.
5. Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery times vary depending on location and courier service, but typically range between:

1–3 working days for major metropolitan areas

2–5 working days for outlying or rural areas
Delivery timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed.
6. Rental Period & Delivery

The rental period begins on the delivery date confirmed by the courier.

Customers are responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive the delivery.
Failed delivery attempts caused by:

Incorrect address details

Unavailable recipient
may result in additional courier charges, which may be deducted from the security deposit.
7. Return Collection

Return collection is arranged automatically at the end of the rental period.

Customers must ensure the equipment is ready for collection on the agreed date.
Failure to make the equipment available for collection may result in:

Additional courier charges

Late return penalties or deposit deductions
8. Courier Fees & Refunds
Courier fees are non-refundable, including but not limited to:

Early returns
-
Order cancellations after dispatch

Failed deliveries due to incorrect information
9. Risk & Responsibility
Risk transfers to the customer upon delivery.
The customer remains responsible for the equipment until it is:

Collected by the courier, and
-
Returned to Rent-a-Trailcam, and
-
Successfully inspected
10. Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing a correct and complete delivery address at checkout.
Rent-a-Trailcam is not liable for delays or failed deliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete address details.
